In 2025, the Department of Political Science and Public Administration will  host a series of conferences, workshops and seminars as part of fulfilling its departmental mandate of cultivating a vibrant research culture among academic staff and students. Below is the schedule of the conferences, workshops and seminars for 2025.
The Department of Political Science and Public Administration will hold an International Conference on Middle East and Sub-Saharan Africa on 24th April, 2025. INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON BRIDGING MIDDLE EAST AND SUB-SAHARAN AFRICA: STRENGTHENING PARTNERSHIPS FOR SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT, 24TH APRIL, 2025, UNIVERSITY OF NAIROBI

The Department of Political Science and Public Administration will hold an International Conference on Bridging Middle East and Sub-Saharan Africa: Strengthening Partnerships for Sustainable Development on 24th April, 2025: Venue: University of Nairobi Main Campus. The Conference will cover a number of themes including Trade and Economic Growth, Energy Cooperation, Infrastructure Development, Geopolitics and Diplomacy, Cultural Diplomacy, Regional Security and Sustainable Development.
The Department of Political Science and Public Administration (PSPA) will hold the first in its series of Departmental Seminars on 25th February 2025 at the University Towers, University of Nairobi Main Campus, Room MLT402 starting at 2.30pm. The main presenter will be Dr. Oscar Otele, Senior Lecturer and Chairman Department pf Political Science and Public Administration, University of Nairobi. Brigadier (Rtd) Naisho Loonena, and Prof. Musambayi Katumanga will act as discussant and moderator respectively.
