The event was hosted by CUEA and brought more than seven universities from Rwanda, Tanzania, Uganda and Kenya. The event was opened by the EAC Secretary General Ambassador Richard Sezibera accompanied by the DVC Academic Affairs from CUEA others included the EAC Secretariat Head of Political Affairs Ms. Isabella Waffubwa and moderated by John Sibi Okumu.

This event enlightened the students on the progress that has been made by the leaders of the EAC countries to integrate the region.
